Deputy Chief Executive Officer
LACERA is the largest county retirement system in the US, with approximately $60 billion in assets, serving 169,084 members and 68,672 benefit recipients. The Deputy CEO assists the CEO in planning, organizing and directing all operations — including systems, programs, and administrative services — for an award-winning organization that employs 450 people and has an administrative budget above $95 million. The ideal candidate has a great attitude and excellent writing, presentation and listening skills. They are an action-oriented self-starter who is strategic, proactive, and politically astute. The best-qualified candidate is familiar with large call center operations and has a strong understanding of the County Employees Retirement Law (CERL) of 1937.

Requirements Requires education in business or public administration.
